What this quote is saying is that you live by doing the right thing like you don't stell do drugs get in trubble with the law or anything else thats bad and you just do the right thing you will be living the raight way because in the end you will be felling free and you wont have to worry if you had done anything bad or get in trubble and you be taken care of beracuse you would had a good job everyone can trust you and you wont have to struggle of worrng about money or you wont be able to live with someone bacuse they know you are a good person and you don't do anything bad. So its good to live the right way because in the end you wont have to worry about anything. Be a CTR person at all times it will help you get through in life if you live doing the right thing. 

Walking home from School Anna decides to invite her bestfriend, Hazel to her house. They had heard about a house party the day before and since it was a banal Friday night, Why not? "I don't have a change of clothes, and your dad will Flip Out!" Said Hazel with a great concern yet a slight of eager emotion "I'll tell him were going to the theaters, don't trip just get ready at my house, I'll lend you a dress and get cute for these sucker of  boys, they don't know what's coming to them" said Anna with a sinister accient. They continued to walk and laugh their way to Anna's house. Once they arrived they went straight to her room rambling through her closet scavenging for the perfect dresses. "Here try this one, I'm going to take a quick shower and when I come you better be ready". Hazel began to undress once Anna had left the room. The dress had carved her body out, she might as well had been in her birthday suit. "Knock knock, can I come in?" Asked Anna's dad Mr. Fitz. "Yeah come in, but Anna's in the shower" "yeah, I know I heard you guys barge in. Where are you guys going?" "Well Mr. Fitz were going to see a movie, just me and Anna" "It's okay you don't have to lie to me, no one goes to the theaters in a dress, which by the way you look good. I'm fine with it". "Really Mr. Fitz?" "Yeah, yeah sure just don't tell Anna's mother or she'll have a bird. Hazel listen have you ever tried coke before?" "what do you mean? Like coca- cola?" "No cutie, like cocain. You weren't planning to go to the party suber were you? Here I have some, just try some it will make you feel insanely good" "I'm okay Mr. Fitz, I rather not" "Come on just try it, you get made fun of at the party" said Mr. Fitz as he laid his heavy hand on Hazel lap. His rough hand began to go higher and Hazel felt as if she couldn't move. She began to sweat her makeup off and felt the worst discomfort there can be.  "Just try it sweetie we don't have to tell anyone" "I'm sorry Mr. Fitz but I wouldn't do something so stupid to try it" Hazel stood up with terror and grabbed her phone. While that happened, Anna walked out the shower and into the room. "Eww dad get out of here I'm in my towel!" Anna's dad walked out with a malicious grin filled with a secret. "I'll be leaving to my mom called and I don't want to go anymore" Hazel barged out the room and walked home.

What this quote is saying is that if you want go go far you alwayas need a goal to achevie but like football the two teams have a goal and the goal is to always get the ball to the other side of the feild to make a touchdown thats here goal when they paly just imagain you playing a game or soprt and make your goals and make sure you stay to that good acomplish that goal its going to feel like you made a touchdown or a homerun because you made that goal and acomplished it and if you don't have a goal or where you want to go you wont make it that far.

 What this quote means is that doing something right does not mean everyone is going to like it and boing the things that popualr people do like smoke drink do drugs does not mean you are doing the right thing. When you do something right you are not always going to make people happy because they think if you are not doing what they are doing then you are wrong and you are not going to be popular. For example, if you are giong to school and some group of people form your school cme up to you and say if you want to ditch or get high with them and you say no thats you doing the right thing and you might not be as popular because you dont want to do drugs and other things they were doing and thats okay because you shoud do what you think is right and stand out.

A choice: Poverty or Prosperity

What this quote is saying is that poverty is a choice like if you want to live in poverty or you don't like if you don't want to live in poverty you will work hard you would study hard you would try to get good grades for you can go to a good college and you would educate yourself even more that you are educated for you can get yourself and family out of poverty and if you don't want to do any of that then you won't work hard in school work hard you will do nothing and stay there living in poverty it's just like school you want to graduate for high school so you start to work hard and if you don't want to graduate form school you don't do anything and you won't graduate. It all depends how you want to live your life if you don't like where you live right now you would work harder because you would like to change the way you and your family is living everything is up to you how you want to live how hard you want to work to make your dreams come true. So just remember poverty is just a choice to live you don't like it then just work harder every time.

                        Anita's Death 

There Is always an unexpected thing that can happen in any event like a lot of things can happen  like something tragic like someone can die and you cannot do anything to stop that or a lot things can  happen  on accident but it can be your fault in some parts of the event. In Across a Hundred Mountains by Reyna Grande there is a girl name Juana who was responsible of taking care of her little sister in a stormy night in a flooded house. Juana is sleepy but she had her sister in her arms. But Juana accidentally falls asleep and Anita was not in her arms when her mom comes home. Ama is responsible of Anita's death.

Ama should have not left Juana with the baby. Anita did not want to stay with Juana," The baby let out a cry and opened her arms to her mother"(9). Anita was not countable that Juana was going to take care of her because Anita wants her mom to carry her not Juana. But Ama still wanted Juana to take care of her sister but a good idea that the mom could of think of is that she could of taken Juana and the baby with her wherever she was going she was going but Ama did not think of that so she just left Juana in charge of the baby.

In addition Juana did not trust herself taking care of her sister by herself in a flooded house. Juana tries to tell ama that she don’t feel comfortable taking care of Anita by herself but Ama dose not let her talk, "I'll go look for help," Ama said, She walked back to Juana and handed her the baby..." But Ama-"(9). Ama wanted to go look for help to bring Apa home from work but the house was flooded and it was raining really hard and Ama wanted to leave Juana by herself with the baby and Juana knew that something wrong could of happen. Juana knew that she could not trust herself with the baby because she has never taken of Anita by herself especially in a flooded house. But Ama did really care, all she wanted was to go look for help.

In addition, to that Juana feel asleep and dropped her sister in the water. Juana accidentally dropped her sister, “What had she been holding so tightly right before she fell asleep?" Juana where's your sister?" Ama asked (13). Juana accidently dropped her sister. It was not stoppable that Juana could not fall asleep she was really tired. Ama was cognizant that Juana was not holding her. 

Even though, others may argue that it's not Ama fault because it was Juana responsibility. I believe that it is still Ama fault because why did she leave an infant with a minor that felt unsure with herself taking care of a baby in flooded house

                                   Presidents Day
