A specialist often consults with people directly on lifestyle, eating and exercise habits and may direct an individual to a doctor for any serious health concerns.

Salary: $49,480 but they make $15.77/hr

Education: Each employer mandates different educational requirements but most require a bachelor’s degree in health education or a related degree field, like community health or health and human services.

Demand of Profession: The wellness field to grow by 37 percent between 2010 and 2020, which is much faster than average for other careers in the United States.



I would not like to become one it does not caught my attention.

   Veterinarian

Duties And responsibilities: Veterinarians care for the health of the animals and help improve public health. Veterinarians diagnose, treat, and they research medical conditions and diseases of the pets. Test for and vaccinate against diseases, Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines, Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments. There are different types of veterinarians with different types of duties and responsibilities like a Companion animal veterinarians they treat pets and generally work in private clinics and hospitals and Equine veterinarians work with horses and there is more.

Salary: $88,490

Education: A Veterinarians must complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M. or V.M.D.) degree at an accredited college of veterinary medicine. There are currently 30 colleges with accredited programs in the United States. A veterinary medicine program generally takes 4 years to complete and includes classroom, laboratory, and clinical components. Although not required, most applicants to veterinary school have a bachelor’s degree. Veterinary medical colleges typically require applicants to have taken many science classes, including biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, zoology, microbiology, and animal science. Most programs also require math, humanities, and social science courses. And you need to be Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations.

Demand of profession: veterinarians is projected to grow 9 percent from 2014 to 2024, faster than the average for all occupations. Veterinarians will continue to be needed to diagnose and treat animals.Veterinary medicine has advanced considerably. Veterinarians are able to offer more services today that are comparable to healthcare for humans, including more complicated procedures like cancer treatments and kidney transplants.
It would be cool to become a veterinarian.

    Speech Pathologist

Duties and Responsibilities: What a Speech Pathologist helps evaluate patients’ levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty they also identify treatment options, teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices,work with patients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow, counsel patients and families on how to cope with communication and swallowing disorders, Speech, language, and swallowing disorders result from a variety of causes, such as a stroke, brain injury, hearing loss, developmental delay, Parkinson’s disease, a cleft palate, or autism.

Salary: $66,920 to $71,550

Education: Speech-language pathologists typically need at least a master’s degree. Even tho some school  master’s programs do not require a particular undergraduate degree for admission, certain courses must be taken before entering a program.A license requires at least a master’s degree and supervised clinical experience. Many states require graduation from an accredited master’s program to get a license

Demand for this profession:  you need to have Communication skills, Compassion, Critical-thinking skills, and more.

   Medical Scientist


Duties and Responsibilities: Medical scientists run trial procedures on volunteer test groups or individual subjects to see how drugs interact with the patients. They work in settings like hospitals, clinics and laboratories. These conditions are usually safe, but sometimes they have to work with dangerous substances and in those cases medical scientists carefully follow all the necessary safety procedures.Design and conduct studies that investigate both human diseases and methods to prevent and treat them.Write research grant proposals and apply for funding from government agencies and private funding sources.


Salary:  The medical Scientist salary is $76,980


Education; Students planning careers as medical scientists typically pursue a bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field. Undergraduate students benefit from taking a broad range of classes, including life sciences, physical sciences, and math. Students also typically take courses that develop communication and writing skills, because they must learn to write grants effectively and publish research findings. And more schooling and you will also Medical scientists primarily conduct research and typically do not need licenses or certifications. However, those who administer drugs, gene therapy, or otherwise practice medicine on patients in clinical trials or a private practice need a license to practice as a physician.


Demand of Profession:A larger and aging population, increased rates of several chronic conditions, and a growing reliance on pharmaceuticals are all factors that are expected to increase demand for medical scientists.
I don’t know if i would like to become one but it sounds cool but i don’t know yet because i will like to do more research on this health profession to see if i am interested to become one.

Duties and Responsibilities: A reflexologist also known as a zone therapy alternative form of treatment involving the application of pressure to different parts of the body in order to improve the general health. The reflexologist treat patients by massaging their feet, hands, and ears to relieve them of stress, and improve circulation to the related body areas.

Education: To become a reflexologist you need a Certificate, associate's degree also Most states require a license or certification for massage therapists; voluntary certification in reflexology is available and 500 hours of massage therapy education may be required for state licensure and by some employers

Education: To become a Recreational therapists you will typically need a bachelor’s degree, usually in recreational therapy or a related field such as recreation and leisure studies. And you will have to get your Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations.

Radiation Therapist

Duties and Responsibilities: A Radiation Therapist works with a operate machines called linear accelerators, which are used to deliver radiation therapy. The  machines direct high-energy x rays at specific cancer cells in a patient's body, shrinking or removing them. So the person that is a Radiation Therapist help cancer patients with their cancer cells.

Salary: $77,560

Education: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent with two years of math and two years of lab science. And must submit to a drug screening and criminal background check and show proof of current immunizations. And some schools might ask for a letters of recommendation. And you are going to need associate's degree and bachelor's degree programs. The length of the program varies by level of study. Certificate programs take a year, while associate's degree programs require two years of study. Bachelor's degree programs take four years to complete. And last Obtain Licensure and Certification.

They lead group or individual counseling sessions. Their job involves talking to people and fostering positive mental health and personal growth. Psychologists research changes in behavioral patterns over a person's life; some focus in on particular time periods, like infancy or adolescence.

Education: The education you need to become a Psychologist is that it takes anywhere from 4 to 7 years to earn a Ph.D. in psychology, after completing both a bachelor's and/or master's degree. Some specialties, such as licensed clinical psychology, also require the completion of a 1- to 2-year supervised residency program following the completion of your Ph.D.

Duties and Responsibilities: There is 2 types of skilled nursing facilities one is a short- term and a long-term the short- term is for the people of who needing rehabilitation services and the long term one is for the people who need24/7 care and live at the facility full-time. The Nursing home administrator oversee all departments like nursing, Meals and special diets, Social services, Laundry and more.
Salary: 70,000- 100,000

Education: To be a nursing home administrator requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health administration. Nursing home administrators have master's degrees in long-term care administration, health services administration, public health or business administration State training program, internship, licensing and continuing education.
