Duties and Responsibilities: There is 2 types of skilled nursing
facilities one is a short- term and a long-term the short- term is for the people
of who needing rehabilitation services and the long term one is for the people
who need24/7 care and live at the facility full-time. The Nursing home administrator
oversee all departments like nursing, Meals and special diets, Social services,
Laundry and more.
Salary: 70,000- 100,000
Education: To be a nursing home administrator requires a
minimum of a bachelor’s degree in health administration. Nursing home
administrators have master's degrees in long-term care administration, health
services administration, public health or business administration State
training program, internship, licensing and continuing education.
