What this qoute is saying is that you should do whats right and have the courage to stop doing the wrong thing. For example, you should have the courage to stop doing and drugs and have the courage not to do it anymore. Another example could be is that have the courage of doing good in school and keep on doing it and for you can have the courage of getting bad grades. Another example is that if you stop liying and you don't do it for a week you should have the courage of liying forever. Its like keeping a promise you don't break that promise you keep it so if you have the courage to start and continue.
